Not so Easy Sunday Morning - We have a guest!

We actually have TWO guests. Our Uncle Jim brought our Cousin Ty to visit. They will be here until Tuesday and we're just getting acquainted with Ty. Here are some pictures:

Thursday Purrayers for Texas and Funny Picture Friday Contest

Our Pal Texas at Fractious Cat Central is not doing well. Please send some purrs and purrayers to him and his family. He has requested that we all enter Funny Picture Friday Contest this week. Below is his request:

It seems a bit more likely now that I will be here this Friday, and although Mom or the fevvers or any new cats the beans get will continue the tradition, there is a decent chance this might be MY last funny picture friday. If it isn't, great. But we don't know that, so please, for me, everybody enter. My Beans will be greatly needing laughs over the next few weeks. And this is a way for everybody to show their love for me without having to pay or really do much of anything. Not the Mama Monday

"Our dear friend Morgen (Mo) has done so much for kitties and their humans and we wanted to recognize him for all that he's done - rescuing strays, fostering, fundraising, donating, working so very hard with the CFHF and the CB, helping his local rescue organizations, and being the kind-hearted and wonderful guy that he is. There will be a special award on the Cat Blogosphere to honor Mo and what he does and has done. Only the CB (or Mo) can actually pass on the award, and it must be to a very deserving recipient who also is a "carer and giver".

Many ManCats have had better lives thanks to Mo (Not The Mama), so we figured ManCat Monday was a good day to dedicate as Not the Mama Monday!

The Last Day of the Cat Olympics!!

We've really enjoyed the Cat Olympics! We can't wait for the next one! So many great athletes competing. Here are a few that we've decided were gold medal winners. Can somebody please ask Fay to go away? We're really tired of this. Mom is getting worried about leaving us today. We told her we're ok, but she worries a lot.

Ellie thought she would try her hand at the needs meme. Here is what she came up with:

Needs Meme - Sniffie Needs

Sniffie wanted to do the needs meme too. She had a hard time finding needs (she's a pretty independent little girl!) We changed the spelling of her name a bit and came up with these:

Tropical Storm Fay From Our Front Porch

UPDATE 8:35pm - the winds are really howling and the rain is pelting the windows. We just read that winds at Patrick AFB were clocked at 50+ mph. The eye is supposed to pass over us at 2am. Mom says the rain gauge has close to 10 inches of rain in it. The woofies refuse to go out (we don't blame them!..................

Mom just took this movie of Tropical Storm Fay from our front porch. We're glad we don't have to go outside! The woofies don't want to go out in this. Our poor Plumeria trees are getting really tossed around in that wind.
