Photo Hunters - Metal

One of the ones who came before was a woofie named Katie. She was a Toy American Eskimo and when she was a puppy she had a metal crate that she slept in. When we all moved to Florida Tamir, Sniffie, Cory and Baschert (two who came before) traveled in Mom's Friends FurEver Van with her in this crate with our litter and food. When we got to Florida, Tamir thought it was a nice bachelor's pad and claimed it for his own until Mom made us take it out of the living room. Sheesh....we thought it added a lot to the decor!

We're getting ready for the big Thanksgiving holiday so we're snoozing today. We wanted to share a few pictures of the big road block Mom came across on her way to work the other morning!! We think these birds look really tasty pretty!

Mom took these from her car and there was a lot of salt spray from the Ocean in the air (the Ocean is right behind that big building at the end of the street.

On a scary note...our Cousin Ty got outside and went up into the tree. Here's a picture of the little guy up in the tree that Uncle Jim took. Ty is VERY high up, so he's hard to see in the picture. (Uncle Jim got Ty down safely).

Whiskers and Purrs have declared today Fierce Fighter Day. "On this very special day, we is askin' that our dear friends on the innernets remember all of the Ones That Came Before that have bravely fought battles with cancer, FIP, diabetes, or any other struggle, and have now gone on to watch over us. These brave little soldiers fought long and hard to be with us but the only way they could win the battle was to go on to heaven. "

We would like to honor two sisters of ours that passed since we moved to Florida. The first is Fooz. Fooz was Daddy's kitty when we moved here. Foozie lived a long life. She developed CRF at the end of her life and fought for a long time. If you click on her picture it will take you to her memorial page.

The second sister we would like to honor is Cory. Cory and Sniffie were littermates and super close pals. Cory was also Daddys little girl. Cory passed way too young. Click on her picture to take you to her memorial page.

Toes Tuesday - Keeping them manicured!

One of the important parts of being a cat is keeping your toes (nails) manicured. Many bazillions of years ago our Mom bought this teepee on clearance in K-Mart. We've always loved it and use it all the time (as you can see). Here we are demonstrating how to keep your nails good and sharp!!

Ellie is demonstrating how to multi-task. She's sharpening her claws and stretching at the same time!
Make sure you position your paw correctly.


Once you get the position you can use both paws as demonstrated by Allie.


After a little while you can really get going!
