The Blessing of the Pets

Please send purrs and prayers out for our friends Mr. Tigger and Samantha's safe return to their home. Their Mom is really worried and we know she would appreciate your support.

Yesterday was the Feast of St Francis of Assisi. Mom and Dad took us down to Church so we could get blessed!

Here are Ellie and Allie wondering why the big PTU is sitting in the living room.

Here we are - TRAPPED!

Mom put us in front of the Blessed Mother's shrine so we could be in the shade. Poor Tamir is hiding behind Sniffie in this picture.

Some woofies came by to visit...

Here are two little woofies all dressed up in their pink outfits!!

Here we are at the end with Deacon Mike.

Enjoy the Video. Deacon Mike did a great job! Father Bober was there and you can see our Choir Director holding the holy water. If you listen closely, you can hear Sniffie meow a couple of times! Mr Hairy (who is mentioned a couple of times) is a pet tarantula!!

Daddy took a whole bunch of pictures too. To see his pictures on our church website click HERE.

How horrible for Samantha and Mr. Tigger's Mom! We hope they come home soon!

You all look very comfy during the ceremony (even if you're in your PTUs.

This is so wonderful! Our mom really wishes we had one of these blessing ceremonies near our home!

How cool that you all got blessed!! We wish our mom had been thinking and woulda taken us to church to get blessed. She did it years ago with the ones that came before us.

We can't believe that your mom can put two of you in one PTU!! There's no way that we would be in one together...we'd probably fight...and we probably wouldn't fit!!

We're purraying really hard for Samantha and Mr. Tigger to come home!

I am praying really hard for Samatha and Tigger to be safe and to be found so they can get back home to their mom and dad. This is such sad news that they are missing.
I loved the photos and how nice to be blessed. I visited with a friend of mine in New York, she is a doggie, and she went to get blessed too.

I didn't know the church did this. That was very special. Sniffie didn't like the water, though, did she?

I'm hoping Samantha and Mr. Tigger are found soon.

We are very worried about Samantha & Mr Tigger - we hope they get home very soon!

That is very cool that they do a blessing of the animals. You were very well behaved, especially considering there were doggies there too!

Oh my! That's quite the occasion. I hope you weren't too frightened by it all.

It sure would be nice if Samantha and Mr. Tigger were blessed, too, so they could find their way home. It is quite distressing.

Thanks for the birthday wishes!
