Thursday in the Garden?

::Meowwww::

Remember this great looking nip plant we got for our Birthday?

we watched over it and made sure it was pruned.....
Then Mom got her paws on it and this is what it looks like NOW!

Can anyone give us some advice on how to bring it back to life?

Visit our pal Jonesie and post YOUR garden link HERE.  Hopefully your nip looks better than ours!

Oh dear. That does not look nearly as nice. That would happen in our house too.

Oh no, your poor nip plant! That is what my plants usually look like after a short while too. I do not have a green thumb!

oh, dont worry I'm sure your plant will be going better. I suggest that you can pour some water and apply some fertilizer. :)

Ours looked liked that too after my human got her hands on it. So she planted it outside in a sunny spot that got watered regularly by the automatic sprinklers. And it did really well! Well, until the gardener ripped it out by its roots. So I would suggest your human plant it outside, and if you guys have a gardener, make sure he knows it is not a weed!

We've had that happen a few times at our house too. Growing nip is an art form. Good luck with your nip. Purrs.

Most of my trees came with my house but The Nip is the first plant my mom touched and not dead !!!

She said Nip love the sun and lots of water, if your mom can put on the ground, it will grown well like our nip. But we are not sure because you are in autumn or not. Because our nip look like going to die in autumn too, But it will come back in Spring ( Here September is Spring ). and my nip start to grow back now.

We hope it help

Oh dear, maybe some sun and watr??? We aren't much good at gardening. Ciara is the resident Un-Gardener here. Maybe the best thing is to get a new plant:)

What a fright! We wouldn't know what to do, either.
Our yard is full of what we think is cat mint and it's spreading like wildfire, but catnip, we just buy already dried..I know, we're not really gardeners :(..

Uh oh! That nip is looking pretty pathetic! We don't know how to help it because our mommy would do the exact same thing to a nip plant since she has a black thumb.

Oh! So sorry about the nip... maybe it needs some sun????

You gotta get that plant away from your mom!!

Cat and DOG Chat With Caren said...

you know what? I had the same thing happen!

My nip plant was gorgeous, then I picked the flowers off...BOOM! Died within a few days!

Oh Noes! That's exactly what QM does to plants!! We wish we had advice for you, but it doesn't look like it's giving up the Glost quite yet...perhaps too much water?? We trust a "Green Thumb" purrson will best advise!

Wishing you a lovely weekend, in spite of a lovely plant on the sick list :(

You mean the nip doesn't grow in tiny little ziplock bags???????? That Glogirly is such a city girl. Can't grow a thing.

Lots and lots of sunlight and water, with maybe a little bit of flowering plant food. Our Mumsy grows two big pots of it out on our patio where it gets lots of sunshine! And she waters it most every day. And feeds it flowering plant food once a week in Spring and Summer, but only once a month in the Winter. It's not hard, don't worry. Dis gives it lots of sunshines and waters it - but let the waters run out, no one likes to be sitting in a pot of yucky water :-)

We hope that helps. We sure hope yours gets better soon!
