Thursday in the Garden with Ellie and Allie

Our pal Jonesie started the Society of Feline Gardeners a while back. As you know, Mom is not a very talented gardener, but she does manage to grow one type of plant very well. Today we will share her orchids with you!
It's impawtent to make sure orchids don't get too much water. Here we are checking the pots.
Allie says this pink one is purrfect.

Ellie makes sure the leaves are clean and well hydrated.

Goodbye to a Sweet Friend

We have sad hearts and leaky eyes today because our wonderful pal Sweet Praline went to the Bridge yesterday. Praline was one of our first blogging pals. In fact, we started blogging around the same time. Over the years, Mom Sharon and Praline's Mom Paula have become friends. Praline and her Mom were so helpful when we lost Sniffie last year and we all feel like Praline and her Mom are family. We will miss her so much. Sniffie and Praline are probably having a great time together at the Bridge, both are young and healthy and, of course, beautiful! Mom put together a slideshow of some of our favorite pictures of Praline. We hope you enjoy it and we hope it is some comfort to Mom Paula.

Today we wanted to show you a new tasty friend who is very thankful that we didn't catch him.

Mr Lizard lived to see another day. Don't worry, we're watching that spot waiting for his return!!

Mom Sharon here: We tried to get Mr Lizard to release him outside, but he got away every time. We think he found his way out of the house just like he found his way in since he hasn't been around (in any form) in the last few days.

Woofie Wednesday - Meet Lily

Our Mom's good friend Rosemary had a sweet woofie named Sophie who went to the Bridge a few months ago. Recently a new woofie pup won their hearts and has made their home her forever home.

Lily has already learned how to guard against introoders....those ducks in the pool look really worried!

Shabby Chic Day 2011

Today has been proclaimed Shabby Chic Day in the Cat Blogosphere. Our Pals Milo and Alfie from The Cat's Meow thought it would be fun to share our decorating tips. Our good friend Ann from Zoolatry made this cool badge too!

Tamir says Mom puts these cute mats on everything to keep our furs off. Yeah....like that's going to work Mom!

Ellie is into window treatments. She thinks the blinds would be nicer if they were open so she can see bird-tv. She also likes the furry look.


Allie is good at re-decorating lamps. We like the "cutting edge" style of Mom's shell lamp:

Sniffie was good at decorating too. She loved to rub her chin on the edges of Mom's flower sculpture. If you look closely at the points, you can see Sniffie's "chin wax" on them.
