Wordy Wednesday

As we told you yesterday, we went to the Blessing of the Pets yesterday afternoon.  We went to the service at Patrick Air Force Base because it is 5 minutes from home.  Our regular church is farther away and we're not happy in the car.

The service was well attended for a small parish and the priest did a great job.  He did the blessing quickly because it was  REALLY hot out.   You can hardly hear him because there was a beagle that is there every year who barks through the whole service.  Raz says that any rumors that he pooped in his carrier are wildly exaggerated.

As many of you know, we are in the path of Hurricane Matthew.  Last night they issued a "mandatory" evacuation for us because we live on a barrier island.  As of right now, we are not planning on leaving.  We have lots of food, water, batteries, lights, a generator and solar powered phone charger.   Dad put up some of the shutters we have yesterday and the rest will go up today. Mom puts us all in a big crate when the storm comes through so we are safe and protected.   Please pray that Matthew either goes through quickly or just fizzles out and goes away.  We sure hope we don't lose power for 9 days like we did with Hurry Cane Frances.

We're over on the west coast near Ft. Myers and so far no warnings have been issued. But things change fast when it comes to hurry-canes. Just be safe out there. We'll be thinking about you.

We bet after all that noise, your folks would have liked to join you in a quiet nap.

We pray you will be safe and secure when the storm passes through. Be safe!

We are praying that you all will be safe and sound and get through this storm with no problems at all.....what would REALLY be nice is if Matthew just makes a hard RIGHT TURN and misses you!!!

Hugs, Sammy

Wow, that beagle really was annoying. That would make any kitty poop in his PTU (if such an incident did occur). We are going to pray that Matthew fizzles. We saw this morning that it has gone down from a category 4 to a 3. We are all nervous (especially Mau and Mom) that it will hit you hard. Please be safe. We love you all very, very much. Mau sends Allie warm hugs, purrs, prayers, smooches and love. He wishes he could be there to personally protect her. Thinking of you as we heard the latest on Matthew. Praying for your safety and that this hurricane will not be as bad as they say. Enjoyed watching your blessings video. I have tried several times today to leave a comment but always the same refresh message so I left one on your facebook page.
