Shopping Around the World, Friendly Fill-Ins and Flashback Friday

Today is Shopping Around the world with our pal Bacon from PigLove
From Bacon's blog:

This month it is scheduled for December 30th – after the holiday so we can all make plans.  Since it is the Christmas holidays, this month we will again focus on appetizers, side dishes, salads, soups, main entrees or desserts.  What is something that you look forward to once a year at Christmas.  I mean yes we can have it throughout the year but having it at Christmas screams the holiday?  This gives you a wide variety of foods you can come up with.  Fix whatever your dish is, take pictures and post it with recipes and prices on December 30th on your blog.  Remember to link back to my blog posting so people can see yours.  This is a wonderful way to (1) meet new friends in blogville and (2) get some wonderful recipes.  And I’ll admit it.  This piggy has been known to visit on these days and lick the computer screen at some of your awesome dishes.  I’m just sayin’ – some of pictures look out of this world!!

That looks like a really fun party dip! The head peep says she is going to save that recipe for the next potluck she needs to attend.

The pizza dip does look yummy, but we have to watch the salt, so some tweaks would be made, and it wouldn't taste as good. Happy New Year!

That sounds like a very yummy dip, although we would substitute something else for the pepperoni and olives. We wonder if some vegetables would work?

Dear friends you have made our tummies growl with hungry and delight.
Raz see I knew you were a super hero and you learned to fly this year. MOLMOL
I'm sorry it scares your Mom. I bet she tells you 87 times you are gonna bust your chin wide open. That is what mom used to say to me and I always reminded her I'm a cat I land on my feets not my chin.

Here is to a healthy, happy 2017 to one and all

Mau loves the thought of his lovely wife dreaming about him under the tree. He wishes he could have been with her in the fur. That photo of Angel Tamir is priceless. Looks as if he might have had a bit too much nip at the Tabby Cat Club NYE party. Sending love to all, best wishes for a wonderful 2017 and kisses and love from Mau to Allie.
