Friendly Fill-ins and Flashback Friday

We're pawticipating in Friendly Fill-ins sponsored by McGuffy's Reader and 15 and Meowing.

1. October is the perfect time to __Clear the clutter from my closet!________.
2. Halloween __has always been a favorite.  When I was a child I wanted to stay home and give out candy rather than go trick or treat.  I loved seeing the costumes.   Bill and I had a tradition of sitting out in the driveway...me in my witch hat and him in his horses head.   This year will be rough.______.
3. Every October, I    start thinking of the holidays.   Hard to think about this year.    .
4. My experience with the supernatural world is    that, if you pay attention, you will get signs from those who have left.         .

Today is also Flashback Friday!!

Angels Sniffie and Tamir were great pals.

A sweet photo of those two special Angels. We understand how those memories keep creeping in with the sadness, but with time those memories will bring more smiles. We keep sending you lots of hugs - we hope you can feel them.

I love that picture of Tamir and Sniffie! I'm so sorry about Bill. I can't even imagine your sense of loss as you go through your every day life. The wisest advice I've heard regarding loss is that life will never be the same - there will forever be a hole - forever be a loss. It doesn't really get easier - but you learn to live life given the new harsh reality. It's so easy to get angry and bitter - life isn't fair. Be patient and compassionate with yourself. It's a process. I know we've never met and you hardly know me - but if you ever want to talk or rage - you aren't alone.
