Friendly Fill-Ins and Flashback Friday

We're pawticipating in Friendly Fill-ins sponsored by McGuffy's Reader and 15 and Meowing.

Mom is answering this week.

1. The best part of last week was _making it through our Christmas Concert without tears_____.
2. The worst part of last week was  Missing Bill 24/7___.
3.    De-cluttering         is a Winter project that I will be working on.
4. A holiday gift that I always buy for someone is    Wolferman's muffins for Kim and Cesar    .

Today is also Flashback Friday...

Angel Ellie was so sweet and loved to help with the wrapping of gifts!

We bet the concert was beautiful at the same time as sad, and brought back some cherished memories.

That's a beautiful photo of Angel Ellie in the midst of the wrapping paper "helping". We know it's a very hard time of the year for you and hope that feeling Bill in your heart will bring a warmth of love that will help you over the cold sadness.

Hugs, Pam and Teddy too

I know when you're feeling the profound feelings of loss, it's hard to see much else. But the truth is those losses are so profound because of the profound blessings you had in Bill and Ellie. It's not fair that they were ripped from your life - not fair that you can't see them every day anymore - but the truth is that many people go their entire lives without these kinds of connections and love. Fear, attitude ... so many different reasons they push others away - but you've truly been given gifts of love and connection. I wish I could take the pain away - make it less. I suppose the pain never really goes away - our lives just grow around the holes in our hearts.

TBT here: De-clutterring seems to be a widespread Winter Project. After a busy outside season, just de-cluttering the basement may keep me busy through January!

Angel Bhu was a big fan of xmas wrap, too! He loved to take a flying leap into the pile of discarded wrapping! And, of course, he LOVED the empty boxes! xoxo

Such a precious photo of Ellie. Mom will be wrapping gifts behind closed doors. She's finally realized that we are more of a hindrance than help. We know you miss your daddy, and Mom Sharon misses him every moment of every day, and we know it was hard not to have him with you on his birthday. We are sure that Ellie and the other kitties and woofies helped him celebrate. We all send love and prayers. Mau sends Allie a bazillion kisses for each star in the sky and all his love.
