Poetic Thankful Thursday

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats

Today's photo prompt is

and our poem is titled

Wild Ride

Beaches with sunshine waves and sand
The surfers arrive with boards in hand.
The beaches are now totally filled
The water is still kind of chilled.
Wetsuits, towels and lots of sunscreen
The beach is always nice and clean.

Funny thing is we are having a LOT of wind and the waves are unusually high on our beaches (NOT as high as this photo)  Mom saw a ton of surfers on the beach this morning!

Today is also Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

We're THANKFUL that we were one of the first three to comment on Angel Sammy and Teddy's Tuesday Teaser!

That's a great poem! You all get to see surfers but it's a good thing the waves aren't like this.....you'd probably see a lot of ambulances if the waves were THIS big....LOL Happy Thankful and Poetic Thursday.

Love, Teddy

That's a terrific poem. Mom wishes so much that we were near a beach, after living in California growing up. We cannot even imagine anyone trying to surf a wave that big. Concats on being a first commenter. Mau sends lots of love an smooches to his beautiful wife. That is a fun poem. Though we don’t think that big wave looks like fun.
