Mom loved this video so much, we let her post it today for Talented Thursday - This is Nora the cat who likes to play the piano. She caught the eyes of Lithuanian conductor Mindaugas Piecaitis. He decided to write a full orchestral piece to accompany her. Enjoy!!
Whitey loves Nora! Did you know that sometimes Grayson plays the piano? He iz not nearly as accomplished as Nora, though.
ReplyDeleteWow that is awesome! What a talented kitty!

ReplyDeleteThat is So cute! We liked when he kept rubbing his head on the piano! Thanx fur sharing!
ReplyDeleteWow what a talent! Very interesting to see a cat doing that!
ReplyDeleteI like the way kitty waits the full minute before playing her first note, and the orchestra leads right into it -- such drama! That is hysterical!
ReplyDeleteI've seen the kitty video before, but never like this!
We're going to get Crikey started on the tamborine right away!

Hi, You asked about my Beef Wellington -- it is always made with beef tenderloin (no other cut will do). And since it is wrapped in pastry, it will not steam. You brown the outside well in a frying pan on top of the stove first (on all sides), then well it's cool, you slather on the mushroom pate, then the pastry and bake. If you want it rare, you just bake for less time.
ReplyDeleteI use Curtis Stone's recipe (The Take Home Chef) with some adjustments. If you want the recipe, just give me your email address and I'll send it to you.

ReplyDeleteIsn't she tinkling on the ivories?
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! We are big fans of Nora. She's amazing!
ReplyDeleteMy mom's boss sent her this video last week! Since my mom is a pianist and she loves kitties, this video is one of her favorites.
ReplyDeleteScary looking snake - my mum would have been freaked out too!
ReplyDeleteI love that - it just goes to show you, plunking around on a piano really CAN create something great, even if you don't know what you are doing :)
