Photo Hunters - Natural

This week's Photo Hunters theme is NATURAL.

Allie says "We eat, we sleep, we play....everything we do is NATURAL...

What isn't NATURAL is the huge hole in our hearts that Sniffie left. Being this sad is just not NATURAL for us."

Mom wanted to let all of our pals know that we are visiting you but not always commenting. Mom finds it too hard to sign our comments without Sniffie's name.

30 comments:

  1. Sniffie left a huge hole in everyone's hearts. That kind of hole does not heal overnight. More purrs and good thoughts to you.

  2. We all miss Sniffie, but probably not as much as you. You are allowed to be sad for as long as you like.

  3. We are sending our best hugs to all of you right away.

  4. I know how you feel!

Thank you again for reaching out to comfort me amid your own terrible grief, I was so touched.

  5. We so understand. Sniffie has left a huge whole in our hearts too.

Can we make a suggestion? Could you sign your comments with "Angel-Sniffie" where dear little Sniffie's name usually goes. Then we will all know Sniffie is still there ~ but at the Bridge.

    Huge ((((((hugs)))))) and love.

  6. It is understandable that you are finding it hard to comment at the moment - everyone will understand this - your feelings come first.

  7. We miss Sniffie too, but we knows that naturally you misses her more.

Tell your Mom to do what she has to do to heal. If that means not commenting we understand. We are glad you liked the rose we planted for Sniffie. The Mom says it is a special rose. It bloomed all winter in the greenhouse, then it started blooming again when we planted it even though it's not the right time of year for it to bloom according to the Grandma.

  8. Being sad is totally natural and we understand. Take all of the time you need to heal. We're here if you need us.

  9. Sniffie is still very much a part of your lives and ours.

She lives in other cats' purrs, kindnesses of humans to their pets, and the goodness that she brought to all of us.

  12. Good picture Allie. I love Milo and Alfie's suggestion to sign your comments with Angel Sniffie. She will always be in your heart so why can't she always be in your signature. I know for one, I would like that a lot and so would all of us kitties that live here. Take care and huge hugs.

  13. Grieving doesn't have a schedule. You need to take as much time as it takes...
We would love to get a comment from Angel Sniffie, it seems right.
    {{hugs}} and purrs.

  14. Allie, you are so pretty today! Our daddy says cats just eat, sleep, play and poop. He's the one that cleans the litter box can you tell?

We have a hole in our hearts too so understand the need to take as much time as you need. We still like the siggy Angel Sniffie so agree with the others.

  15. Sniffie was very special and we understand that you may not want to not sign. Believe me, while no one had your relationship to Sniffie we have all had those special kitties and know that it will take time.

  18. Sniffie was certainly a natural beauty.

And being sad is natural, too.

We're sending you our thoughts and purrs. We also included in our photo hunt a tribute to her and the support you have shown us through her visits.

  21. You can be as sad as you need to be, for however long you need to be. There's no timetable on healing from loss. And sadly, loss *is* a natural part of life, one that is very difficult to accept.

    (((Hugs))) and Light.

  23. Oh pretty Allie, you look a little sad. You should tell your Mom that of course we all understand because we have all been there too.
Usually, after awhile, and that while is different for everybody, we start to remember the really fun parts about our furriends who've gone on ahead of us and that makes us happy instead of sad. But that takes time. I know that you are all comforting each other during these days.

  25. That's fine, Allie! All of you need time to heal first. I think your Mom could still sign Sniffie's name if she wants. She's your angel now, but still part of the family.

  26. We understand. Take as long as you need. We are all here for you.

  30. I do believe all of us understands the pain of a loss -- but none of us understands how this loss feels to you. Take all the time you need and know that we'll all be here to help in whatever way we can. Do what feels comfortable and natural for you regarding signing Sniffie's name -- we loved Milo's idea. Sniffie has always been angelic. We are keeping you in our purrayers.
