Mardi Gras Challenge!

Our pals at Jacqueline's Cat House challenged us all to do a special post today for Mardi Gras.  We're always ready for a fun challenge!



Today is Fat Tuesday! Fat Tuesday marks the end of Mardi Gras and is a day for eating rich foods Here is the Wikipedia description


The terms "Mardi Gras" (pronounced /ˈmɑrdi grɑː/, "Mardi Gras season", and "Carnival season",[1][2][3][4][5][6] in English, refer to events of the Carnival celebrations, beginning on or after the Epiphany and ending on the day before Ash Wednesday. Mardi Gras is French for "Fat Tuesday" (in ethnic English tradition, Shrove Tuesday), referring to the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenten season, which started on Ash Wednesday
We can think of some yummy, rich, fatty foods we would like to have like stinky goodness and temptations! A few years ago, a super pal of ours, Diamond, made this for Allie for Mardi Gras - isn't it pawsome?? Thanks again Diamond!

    It's really not fair. They had a big pawty at the Human's school today and she got all kinds of fun stuff and I gotted a big nuthin. Well, okay, maybe she DID bring me home some beads. But honestly, what good are they?? Allie looks fabulous!
