Flashback Femme Friday - Sniffie

We're not sure why Tamir picked yesterday to leave for the Bridge, but we think maybe he wanted to be with Sniffie for her second anniversary there.  We had this post planned before he left and we think he would have still wanted us to post this.  Many thanks to all of you who have left comments and Facebook messages.  Mom will do her best to get around to thank each of you personally.  She's way too teary right now to do much.

It's really hard to believe that our sweet Sniffie left us two years ago today.  We miss her so much and  think of her all the time.  Sniffie was such a special girl and she took a huge chunk of our hearts with us when she left for the Bridge.


Here is the slideshow that Mom did last year showing lots of great photos of Sniffie.  We think that it really captures her spirit. It's a bit long (around 10 minutes) but we hope you enjoy it.

Sniffie, we love you with all our hearts.  Show your big brofur Tamir around the Bridge and know that we will all be together some day.

    We know it's sad around your house this week. Please know that we're here for you. We're sure Angel Sweet Praline, Sniffie, and Tamir and chatting about everyone at the Bridge and watching over those of us still on the Earth.

    I think maybe Tamir left when he did so you only had to grieve once a year for both him and Sniffie. Know that you are very much in my purrs today.

    We remember this slideshow, it's beautiful. Sniffie was such a little character. She'll be showing Tamir a good time at The Bridge now and helping him get settled in, meeting new and old friends.

    It is hard to believe that Sniffie has been gone for two years but I know it is true because it is also two years for Molly (on the 23rd)! We know that Sniffie and Tamir are together now looking after each other. Sending you lots of love and purrs.

    We watched every minute of it...and now mom is all leaky. It's been a hard week. Such wonderful memories of Sniffie. I'm sure she scampered over the second she knew Tamir was coming and they are together now.

    Know this is a super hard day for you but know that Tamir is now with sweet Sniffie and I bet they are having a blast. I know how sad you are as we are here too. We want those we love with us not gone. Someday you will see them again. Until then let the memories bring you comfort.

    Leaky eyes for you on the loss of dear Tamir. I did not know he was I'll, I have been so absent from visits because we are moving to a different home. And also warm thoughts for Sniffle, whom I did not know...but we know the heart break of losing furfamily members. Paw hugs, Savannah and Mom
