Mardi Gras!

Today is Fat Tuesday! Fat Tuesday marks the end of Mardi Gras and is a day for eating rich foods Here is the Wikipedia description
The terms "Mardi Gras" (pronounced /ˈmɑrdi grɑː/, "Mardi Gras season", and "Carnival season",[1][2][3][4][5][6] in English, refer to events of the Carnival celebrations, beginning on or after the Epiphany and ending on the day before Ash Wednesday. Mardi Gras is French for "Fat Tuesday" (in ethnic English tradition, Shrove Tuesday), referring to the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenten season, which started on Ash Wednesday
We can think of some yummy, rich, fatty foods we would like to have like stinky goodness and temptations!

    We call it Shrove Tuesday and tradition has it that you eat lots of pancakes (tossed of course) before you eat frugally for Lent. Thank goodness we're cats and (whispers) Mum doesn't eat frugally so neither do we!!)

    Oh you cuties! We love how furtabulous you all look. Mau is breathing hard looking at how adorable Allie looks. Our mom really wanted to post today, but she just could not get her act together. She's been doing some good stuff like helping Mau make birthday cards for his Cat Scout project, but then she has been doing really stoopid stuff like painting all this old furniture in the guest room. We are sure hoping for some extra treats for Fat Tuesday. Hope you all get some extra goodies as well.
