I LOVE to recline on *my* table. The Human used to make half-hearted attempts to keep me off--but seriously? I mean, she goes to work all day. Does she really think I have some rulebook in my head? Surely you jest, Human, I told her. And now she never bothers me at all. Heh, heh.
On The Table is great. We can only get away with On The Table when we sit on the noospaper TBT is reading. And that can be a suddenly brief visit sometimes...
Ellie, we really only have one rule around our house, and that is no paws on the placemats, or our butts or other body parts for that matter. We see that you are managing to skirt that rule by lying in the newspaper, which is exactly the same thing we do. We kitties are so smart when it comes to getting around the rules.
