ManCat and Ladycat Monday

This weekend Sammy's Travel Service, lead by our pal Scout Sammy, took Cat Scouts on a trip to the Louisiana Bayou! Scouts Raz and Allie were thrilled to go on the trip.  We left from Vicksburg on the Carolina Queen with Captain Raz at the helm.

We traveled down the river, had a great time enjoying the scenery and had a big costume party and fabulous dinner that evening.  In the morning, we left for the Swamp where Captain Raz once again took the helm of the Swamp Runner for a tour of the Swamp.

Cat Scouts got to see lots of Crocodiles and other exotic swamp creatures.  Later that night, there
were great stories around the Campfire and a few Swamp creatures were even spotted.  After a huge breakfast buffet served from Pete and Raz's Fish Truck, we headed back home on Sunday.

Here's a slideshow of some of the highlights.  The only thing that would have made the trip better would have been having Raz's gal Madi along but it was a Scout only trip.

Are you a Cat Scout?  If not, WHY not?  We have a blast.  The 3rd Quest is coming up as well as the big Cat Scout Jamboree in September.  Join now and tell them Scout Raz or Scout Allie sent you!

  7. Terrific slide show and loved the music. Our slide show today was our very first one, and we hope we can do better in the future. That was such a terrific trip. Raz was a great Captain and Sammy the purrfect tour planner and director, as always. Mau sure had oodles of fun, and always enjoys the time he gets to spend with Allie. He is sending her lots and lots of kisses. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  8. That steamboat looks like it was a lot of fun. My kitties wish they could join, but I am too over-protective to let them travel in cyberspace.

  9. Wow, that was a fun experience for all of you - that steamboat must have been a blast! We would love to be Cat Scouts, but sadly we don't think we have the right qualifications:)

  10. Oh I love those old paddle wheelers. We miss seeing the Delta Queen come to Cincinnati and dock. But the Mississippi Queen still comes up. Lee has one of those period costumes and she would look just like the picture standing on the back of the deck.
    Thanks for being a friend
