Well, this week I took a selfie with my fantastic present. Mauricio (with the help of his Mom) commissioned a sketch of the two of us from the famous Thomas Clausen from One Drawing Daily!
Isn't it fabulous???? If you want to see it on his site click HERE. Mom had to use the flash since it was a dreary day when she took the photo. You can really see how beautiful it is on the site, especially if you biggify it!
Thank you Mauricio....we love the sketch. Mom is going to find the purrfect frame for it and put it somewhere that I can see it all the time.

ReplyDeleteThat is SUCH a fabulous gift from your FABULOUS boyfriend Mauricio. Mr. Thomas is such a great artist and we are fortunate that he did a drawing of me back in his "early" days....he's gotten SO DARN GOOD and these color portraits are magnificent - you two look so sweet together.

ReplyDeleteAllie, Mom and Mau are so happy you like the drawing. We can't wait to see it after you have it framed. Mom wanted to have all three of us who have significant others drawn by Clausen, but she discovered she would have to do one a year. We are still waiting to get the one of all eight of us for Dad. If it as good as this, we'll be jumping for joy. When it got here, Mau had a really hard time letting Mom wrap it up and send it as you are the most beautiful kitty on earth and he loves you so much.
