A couple of weeks ago, Mom and Dad attended the big Adoption Event at our courthouse. One of the children that they knew who lived in a foster home with one of their GAL children was adopted by the foster mother.
The adoption event is always amazing. This was held the weekend before Mother's Day and there were bouquets of flowers for the Moms, photo albums for everyone and a lunch catered by Chick-fil-A.
Dad got to meet the Chick-Fil-A Princess (we didn't even know there was one!) and they took a selfie together! Isn't it a great photo?
That sounds like such a great event! How wonderful that your mom and dad got to go and experience that. :)
