Yesterday our Mom was in a race called the Shark In the Park.
The race is a fundraiser but it's named after Sushi the Bull Shark that somehow ended up in the pond in June of 2014. In Sushi's honor, the city put a buoy in the pond. The Sushi buoy wanted it's own selfie, so today we present Sushi!
While they were trying to catch Sushi, they had tons of reporters and one interviewed Mom during her walk. She's the first interview - the lady with the WILD hair and green shirt! Sushi Interview
Here are some pictures from the race. Mom's friend Donna beat her by one second! Mom's time was 44:23 and Donna's was 44:22! They are walkers and not runners. The top two in their age group were runners.
