Sunday Selfies

We're pawticipating in The Cat on My Head's Sunday Selfies today.



A few weeks ago we posted photos of one of the Gopher Turtles that live in the park that Mom walks at.   Click HERE to see that post.

Those turtles are strictly land turtles and there are many signs posted to NOT put  them in the water.


On the other paw (flipper?)  This guy really enjoys the water and wanted us to shared his selfie to make everyone aware that all turtles are NOT the same!




We;re fortunate enough to live where Loggerhead Turtles nest on our beaches but we've never seen a nest hatch.

    I didn't know there was such a thing as LAND turtles! Does that mean there are water tortoises?

    So cute! There are so many types of turtles!
    Our human always see the Malayan softshell turtles (Dogania subplana) during walks in the streams in the nearby forest reserve. Purrs from all of us.

    OMC...look at all those fish in the water as well. Our humans always look for turtles along the river hen they bike. Today they saw three. Mau wishes the selfie had been Allie, but he is enjoying the glamping photos she sent. Thanks for hoping.
