We've shared a couple of the selfies that the turtles in the park that Mom walks at have taken. This guy is one of the water ones (not the gopher tortoise that doesn't go in the water). He was in the middle of the walking path and didn't move at all. Mom and her friend Donna went around 3 times and he was still standing there. FINALLY Mom realized he wanted to take a selfie. She was right....the next time they came around he was headed back to the pond!

ReplyDeleteI haven't had the pleasure of seeing a turtle on my walks in quite a while. Deer are there but....not the same. I like turtles. I did find a great spider web with the maker in it still. Had to use the phone to take his picture.

I love that turtle selfie! Wildlife continues to amaze me. There are so many creatures around us every day, if we just stop and take the time to notice them.
