Earth Day and Caturday Cat Art

Today is EARTH DAY!   In the spirit of Earth Day we're recycling this post from 2009!  Since that date, Mom has gotten really good about using her reusable bags every time she goes to the store.  She's even gotten more bags than these pink ones!  We have single stream recycling and we recycle a LOT more now that it can all go into one can.

Allie says that reusable shopping bags help keep the Earth clean!






And they make a good place to take a nap!!

    That is a beautiful Caturday Art photo. Our Mom uses double brown bags for her groceries and brings them back to the store every week until they get too old or ripped. She even gets a $.10 refund for each bag that is reused.

    Ellie's Earth Day art is inspired. And we love Ann's graphic. But Mau is absolutely in love with these photos of his beautiful wife. She is totally adorable. Our humans are (especially Mom) are fanatical about recycling and using their reusable shopping bags. We are having a very cold and rainy Earth Day. Hope your day is beautiful and warm.     I love your song! Yes, recycling became a lot easier when we were allowed to toss everything in the same bin. And with as expensive as trash pickup is nowadays, the more you can recycle the better!

    We really like that pink bag. Mom Paula tries to recycle, but it isn't a habit she's developed yet.

    Pawsome poem and art! TW has a ton of cloth sacks. When she does get plastic, she uses them as garbage bags. She also uses the bags the paper comes in to put my pees and poos in after she scoops.
