Sunday Selfies with Raz

We're pawticipating in The Cat on My Head's Sunday Selfies today.

Hi furriends.  Raz here.  If you are on Facebook, you know that 2:30 in t he morning on Wednesday January 30 I had a seizure.  It was quick and I was okay afterwards so Mom waited to take me to our regular VET.  We really like it there and Cheryl who works there is super pawsome and loving to us.

I got packed up in the PTU and headed out.  Fortunately, they are only a few blocks from our house.  Dr Kaseta checked me over and I seem to be healthy and all my vitals were good so we decided to wait to see if anything happened again.

On Friday night I horked a few times and it was yellow bile kind of stuff.  I also refused to eat my stinky goodness.  Yesterday morning I horked again and even refused treats so Mom packed me up and took me back.

While I was in the car, I took my selfie.  Not easy with that screen in front of me.

I was a good boy again and let them steal my bloods and give me a shot of Cerenia for upset tummy.  We are hoping that this is not related and Mom is just being overly cautious.  I didn't have a temperature but I did lose half a pound since my last visit.  I was not dehydrated and my gums were a nice, healthy color.

Please send some purrs and prayers for me. We should have blood results either tomorrow or Monday. Mom is a basket case and I really want to feel better.

Thanks!
Raz

  11. Hey, Raz! I wasn't feeling well yesterday, either. In fact, I had an out-of-box experience and then this morning I horked up on the bed right next to my mom's paws. I hope you're gonna be okay!

  12. You will stay on our minds Raz. By the way, several years ago, I started with diarrhea and the yellow bile thing...simultaneously. If I posed, I also wretched horribly and brought up the bile. I didn't eat or drink. Mommy took me in of course. I was checked carefully, given Cerenia and...that is when mom was told to give me probiotics to settle my bowel.

  17. Oh, Raz, we are so sorry to hear that you had a seizure and now you are not feeling well. We don't like it when any furry friend of ours has a seizure - we know too well how awful they are. We know you are in the best of care there with Mom and your vets. All paws crossed for you to be very fine soon.
