Poetic Thankful Thursday

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats


Today's photo prompt is
Our poem is titled


Floating Home
How awesome to have a floating home
But where would you put the garden gnome?
Floating with waters ebb and flow
A relaxing life we would know.
Would cats like a  house that floats?
We would have to take a vote.
We don't want wet feet
But this place looks really neat!

Mom has seen quite of few of these on House Hunters International and they fascinate her.  It seems like a super nice place to live...quite and stress-free.

Today is also Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

We're really THANKFUL that the unseasonable HOTS have gone away and that we have our nice normal temperatures.  An added plus was some rain too.  Nice not to have to run the sprinklers!

    that is a good question... maybe we can use mermaid and mermaid garden gnomes what float around the boat?

    What a GREAT poem! It's a toughie to decide - water or land....we thought about it too and decided it would be fun for a vacation but not forever. Besides, Teddy wouldn't have any DIRT to play in if we lived on a boat! HAHA

    What a poem. Mom has the same problem. What about the garden? We'd have to have raised beds on a deck the size of the house part. mol

    That is a fun poem, and I am sure the garden gnome would be happy amongst the plant pots. Just make sure he doesn't fall overboard!

    What a really fun poem...we had a good giggle about the garden gnome. Mom would really like to try living on a houseboat. We're not certain it would be to our liking.
