Poetic Thankful Thursday

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats

Today's photo prompt is

The Phone
Who is that on the phone?
No caller id so the name's not known.
What's this thing they call a cord?
If I have to stay here I'll be bored.
I'm certainly vexed
I can't text!

Today is also Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

We're THANKFUL Mom got up early to help us be one of the first to comment on the Tuesday Teaser.  Our buddy Timmy was the other firstie!

  3. What a cute poem! Phones have become so fancy - you couldn't carry them any further than the cord let you in those days. Now everyone is their very own walking phone booth!

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy too

  9. You really nailed it with the poem. So true but gave us a good laugh. Sawyer says, “hi,” to Noelle and sends her lots of purrs. Mau sends love and bazillions of smooches to Allie. Have fun tonight, Mom Sharon. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  10. Happy Thankful Thursday. We love the poem and made us lol thinking about the long phone cords when I was little. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful rest of your day.
