Poetic Thankful Thursday

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats

Today's photo prompt is

Our poem is titled:
Tire problems!

The day started out full of hope
They had big plans to elope!
She dressed in a lovely dress of white
He thought she was a lovely sight.
On the way to the chapel, they hit a bump.
All of a sudden the tire went thump thump thump.
He got out and saw what he was dreading
They were going to be late for their own wedding!

Today is also Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

We are, as always, THANKFUL that our pals and their families are all safe and healthy.  We're also THANKFUL that Mom got up early and was one of THREE first commenters on Teddy's Tuesday Teaser!  Yay Mom!   Yay to Mom Janet (who also was first right guessed!) and Timmy for being the other two firsties!

  6. Cute poem!
The Hubby and I were early for our wedding; the chapel in Las Vegas was backed up due to so many people trying to get hitched! We ended up at the nextdoor casino's bar, slugging down beers until we were called to walk down the aisle.
