We're pawticipating in The Cat on My Head's Sunday Selfies today. Normally, we would be going to be blessed but, thanks to COVID, that's not happening this year. We're sharing a photo from 2017. Raz, Angel Allie and Flat Angel Mau went to the blessing together.
I do think they should do virtual blessings whilst this crisis lasts. That is a delightful past selfie though.

We go to the Blessing of the Animals on Olvera Street in downtown L.A., which happens near Easter... but of course, that was cancelled too. My human is hoping they have it in 2021 because she misses it - we skipped last year because of a wedding (we really should have gone to the Blessing instead - my human is no longer friends with that woman).

That is a terrific photo! Our Priest used to come to our house to bless us, then he got transferred and the new Priest doesn't like animals and he is mean so we're blessless this year.
ReplyDeleteI love that you went to get blessed, that is wonderful! Since it can't be done this year, I think if we all pray to St. Francis for blessings for all animals, it will be just as good.

St. Francis was a busy guy; I recently read a write-up about all of the things he'd accomplished in his lifetime...and beyond.
