Poetic Thankful Thursday

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats

Today's photo prompt is

Brilliant Lights
Looking down from the Space Station
Each Astronaut looks at their own Nation/
Amazed at the blazing lights.
Shining bright in the night.
What could it be?
They can't believe what they see.
Such a massive amount of lights
They can be seen from this height.

Today is also Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

Being Thanksgiving, we are even more THANKFUL for our friends, our family and all of YOU who come by to visit and support us in good times and bad.

We're also missing our Daddy today.   In his honor, Mom is going to cook the turkey on the Big Green Egg.  We sure hope it works!!

  9. The Hubby would have adored cooking a turkey in a barbecue, but we've been vegan for so many years now, our roasted vegetables and black bean hummus has become a staple at family gatherings.
But, we aren't traveling this year, and there is football on the TV, so...
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

  16. We know how hard it is to spend everyday, much less holidays, without Dad Bill. You were in our thoughts and hearts, as it was even more difficult this year, as Mom Sharon could not spend the day with friends. We liked your poem as well. Mom said the same thing when she saw the photo, that the house probably could be seen from space. Sawyer sends oodles of purrs and paw-pats.XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
