The Victorian Ladies
Victorian Ladies prim and proper
Never do anything inproper.
They are dressed to the hilt.
Clothes like that would make us wilt.
They sure have interesting hats.
Reesie is THANKFUL for everyone who helped make her birthday special especially Periwinkle and Stinky who threw her a great party.
We're THANKFUL that Mom got up early on Tuesday and won us a first commenter badge at the Tuesday Teaser.

They probably didn't even have anything casual to wear just at the house!

ReplyDeleteThat's a perfect poem! Late 19th century fashion doesn't appeal to me either especially the laced up corset look! OUCH!

ReplyDeleteI love that poem. Each time I see photos from that far back my first thought goes to how hot they must have been and I bet their B.O. is what really gave them the 'vapors'!!
