Poetic Thankful Thursday

Today's photo prompt is

Snowflakes
I'm enjoying the pretty falling snow
Trying to catch one is going too slow.
I've been trying to get one on my tongue
I guess the idea is pretty far-flung!

Today is also Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

We are THANKFUL that the boomies that came with New Year's are gone.  They started pretty early on New Year's Eve but are done now!  We're also THANKFUL Mom remembered it was Tuesday and was a Firstie on the Tuesday Teaser along with Mom Janet.

  2. That's a super cute poem! We had NO fireworks this year around our community.......YAY!

  3. Lulu: "They did fireworks outside in the streets here. Fortunately Mama and Dada were home and pumped us full of treats while that was going on, right, Bean?"
Java Bean: "Sí, but I don't care about the fireworks. It was just free snacks for me!"

  7. I guess it would be fun to try to catch snowflakes this way, but I can also imagine it's frustrating if you can't.

  8. Our mom is always happy when she and Mom Sharon can be firsties together. We enjoyed your poem. It’s a shame that catching snowflakes on one’s tongue is now cautioned against, as snow contains tons of pollutants. Sawyer sends Noelle bunches of paw hugs and all his love.
