Poetic Thankful Thursday

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats

Today's photo prompt is

The Feast

Eight thousand plates, a feast so grand,
Delicious flavors from every hand.
A table long, a happy spread,
Where every dish is a joy to be fed!
Laughter, joy, and food to share,
A table full of love and care!

Mom used Mr. Google to research the photo. This is what he said,

"This image captures a moment during a grand feast in China in 2011 where community residents set a Guinness World Record. Residents brought over 8,000 self-cooked dishes to share.
The event was held to celebrate the upcoming traditional Spring Festival (Chinese New Year).
It set a new Guinness World Record for the most dishes displayed in multiple venues.
The event took place on January 27, 2011."

We think that had to be pawsome!

Today is also Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

We're THANKFUL the freezing weather has subsided!  We're not happy when it gets that cold.

    Here's my go...

"Lots and lots and lots of food on the table
Eat it all if you are able
    People point and stare
They are all happy to share"
