 Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats



Today's photo prompt is

Two little trees with wandering feet,
Tiptoe softly down the street.
Leaves that rustle, shy and green,
The silliest forest ever seen.

They walk past tables, light and air,
As people stop and laugh and stare.
Not rooted down, but free to roam—
Having fun taking a stroll from home. 🌿

We're THANKFUL that it is warm enough for long naps in sun puddles and for each other and our Mom!  We're also THANKFUL for you!

    Love it! I remember seeing some crazy sights on some of our tours and I understand this photo was taken in Utrecht which is a very ARTSY place.....these walking bushes inspire a lot of interesting thoughts (and poems!).

    At Christmas time I've heard of talking trees, lol. But I've never seen walking trees.. very good poem thanks

    That is an adorable poem. Your theme is unusual and perfect. You would have liked it at our house yesterday. It got to 92 degrees. Ugh ... too hot for us even in summer!
