Poetic Thankful Thursday

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats

Today's photo prompt is

Just say No

To sit on a toilet, dine with a frown,
Menus that make your stomach turn upside down.
Soap and stew in a swirl of grime,
A bathroom feast that’s not a choice of mine.

Edited to add...this is a BIG NO We found this on the interwebs when we searched.  It's a restaurant in Taipei."
  • The interior is decorated with various bathroom fixtures, and desserts are often shaped like fecal matter.
  • URP!

    1. A VERY strange restaurant! I lived in Taipei, Taiwan for two years and never saw anything like this (thankfully) !! GREAT poem though and how someone thought this was a "great idea" is way way way beyond me!

      Hugs, Pam

    5. That really is gross. Mom read up on these restaurants a bit. The one pictured here is one of two in Taipei. There used to be 19. I guess the trend is waning. Mom couldn't even bring herself to write a poem about it. Mom Sharon did a good job at expressing how icky it is. All our mom could think of when she looked at the decor on the walls was Raz and Sawyer's penchant for being PTU poopers 💩. Angel Sawyer sends Noelle his forever love. Our mom misses him so much! 6. I can imagine it's fun to go once if you have the stomach for it and can see it as a joke. I like your poem.

    7. Lulu: "If we went there I think I would be confused whether I should eat the food or roll around in it. Maybe both?"
