Woofie Wednesday - Meet Tanner

Today we wanted to share something cool that went on at Mom's work.


A nice lady named Candy wanted to help the woofies at our local shelter. They really needed new beds that were not sitting on the ground. She made this cool poster and managed to get enough green papers to buy NINE new beds!! You can read the poster better if you biggafy it


Here's a picture of Candy with Tanner. Tanner is at the shelter waiting for a forever home.


We're glad Tanner likes his new bed and we sure hope he gets a forever home soon. It's nice people like Candy who help make woofies and kitties at the shelter happier until they get their forever homes. Thanks Candy!!

Hi folks, it's Cubby here!

The other day my brother Clifford and I were outside minding our own business when Mom grabbed both of us, the hose, some shampoo and said "Bath Time!" Needless to say, we were not happy.

When we broke loose we looked like THIS...

We have to admit we looked (and smelled) a lot nicer afterwards. Notice how shiny Clifford's furs are?

Thankful Thursday - a cool award for Mom

Mom got this cool award from Sweet Praline's Mom Paula....

1. What would your prefect day consist of?
Sleeping late and enjoying the morning without stress.

2. How would you describe yourself if you were an item of clothing?
Probably a sparkly shoe since I'm a crazed shoe lady.

3. What hobbies are you currently working on?
Learning how to really get the most out of my camera.

4. Walking in the woods in wellies or bare foot on the beach?
Barefoot on the beach (although I don't do it often enough!)

5. Have you ever hugged or sang to a tree?
No.

6. Growing your own veggies or nipping to the supermarket?
Nipping to the supermarket. I would starve if I had to grow my own veggies. Ask the cats, I killed their 'nip plant.

7. Have you found anyone exciting in your family tree?
Jon Bon Jovi is a distant cousin.

8. Slap up meal in a posh restaurant or fish ‘n’ chips from the wrapper?
Posh meal! I love gourmet food!

9. Which element do you most resonate with, Earth, Air, Fire or water?
Water! I've always lived near the water.

10. Do you believe in fairies?
Must agree with Mom Paula (and Herman's Mom Karen) on this one. Most of the time, but then sometimes I get all rational and think I'm being silly.

So Mom is FINALLY home! I'm so happy that she's back and I love her so much and missed her, but.........

Later on I took a look at her computer and saw THIS!!!
