Thankful Thursday - Christmas in July

A very special package came in the mail for us yesterday!  It was our Christmas in July present from Sparkle the Designer Cat.

Mom was really sad yesterday because she had to take her Space Shuttle down for the last time. She only flew it when the Shuttle was flying. Isn't it a cool flag???

Flashback Femme Friday with Sniffie and welcome home Atlantis

Yesterday morning at 5:56 the shuttle Atlantis arrived at Kennedy Space Center for the final time.


We are very sad to see the space program end. We owe so much to the shuttle program. Thank you to those very brave astronauts and to all of the workers and support teams that made the shuttle program possible. We're also sad because on Friday 1,510 workers for United Space Alliance will be out of a job. That is only a small part of the huge number of jobs that are being lost. We're purring and praying for all of these people and their families.

Don't mess with your Kitty!!!

Our Pal Mr. Puddy has encouraged us to share the ways we've taught our Parents not to mess with us.


Mr Puddy has officially named this Don't Mess with your Kitty. Isn't this a cute graphic? We liked the Orange one 'cause our story is about an orange kitty.

Our story is about one of those who came before. A girlkitty Mom had named Raymond.

Doesn't Raymond remind you of Tamir? But....back to our story.

Mom bought a cute pair of embroidered Chinese slippers and put them on for the first time.
The slippers made a funny squeeking sound and Mom thought she could break them in and the sound would go away. Raymond REALLY didn't like the sound and ran into our Mom's Daddy's closet to get away from them.

A few days later Mom's Daddy was getting dressed and put on a pair of shoes that was in the closet.....and stepped in a whole mess of POOP! Raymond taught Mom (and her Daddy) a lesson - DON'T MESS WITH YOUR KITTY!!!

Birthday Party at the Bridge

Today would have been Sniffie's 13th Birthday. We miss her so much! Mom says there must be a huge party at the Bridge today for Sniffie and her sister Cory who went to the Bridge in 2002.

Sniffie was born Nirmanakaya's Viandra to Daddy Nirkmankaya's Visquey Innajar and Mom Nirmanakaya's Sidhe Reginne 13 years ago today!

As you all know, Sniffie LOVED chips and ham! Here's a video of Sniffie enjoying her Birthday snack from last year.





Happy Birthday Sniffie and Cory. There is not a day that goes by that we don't miss you. When you left, you took a big part of our hearts with you.
