One of the ones who came before was a woofie named Katie. She was a Toy American Eskimo and when she was a puppy she had a metal crate that she slept in. When we all moved to Florida Tamir, Sniffie, Cory and Baschert (two who came before) traveled in Mom's Friends FurEver Van with her in this crate with our litter and food. When we got to Florida, Tamir thought it was a nice bachelor's pad and claimed it for his own until Mom made us take it out of the living room. Sheesh....we thought it added a lot to the decor!

Too bad you got kicked out of your bachelor pad. I like what you did with it!
We think you spruced it up real nice, Tamir!
We lived in a large metal doggie crate when we first came to live with Mommy and Daddy. Daddy borrowed it from one of is co-workers and it had our food, water and litter box in it. We lived in there so we wouldn't get into anything cause were were very little kitties. ~Scylla & Charybdis
I use to sit on top of the crate and keep an eye on them at night when the beans were asleep. ~Socks
Actually this doesn't look like a bad napping spot! ;-)
Did your Mommy get our Mommy's email regarding your Christmas theme some days ago?
Guys, I love what you have done with the place! Great use of your everyday metal!! :)
Come and see mine here! It's metal, Disney-style!
You all seriously decorated it? It looked like a V.E.T. carrier :P

Geez, Tamir...we're sorry you lost your bachelor pad...now where are you gonna bring the ladies??
That's a shame that your cool bachelor pad got kicked out of the living room! You look so handsome in it Tamir!
Oh dear, that kind of metal strikes fear into the hearts of most cats!!
I did Photo Hunt today, too. I hope you get a chance to visit and leave your link. :)

We had a cat who loved his cat carrier. His was decorated with a baby flannel blanket and it sat in our living room for much of the time. He loved it. I think it works as a backelor pad.
If you have time check out my metal photos.

I bet your bachelor pad really added quite a bit of character to the living room decor. The obvious solution would have been to replace all of the living room furniture with metal crate design furniture, but I bet your mom didn't even think of that. Silly beans.
Beans just don't preciate a good sleepin spot. They's always takin away our bags an boxes an callin them "clutter". We could more sum of THEIR clutter to the basement an see what they fink!
That's a good choice of pictures for this week's theme. :)
