Easy like Sunday - or maybe not

Mom is furry upset. Her computer got a nasty virus from dropping entrecards and she can't get rid of it. She worked all day Saturday trying to clean it up, but it kept crashing and not letting her download updates for her spybot and her antivirus. She is NOT happy and neither are we 'cause we wanted to post our cool pictures from Christmas for efurryone to see. Mom hopes to get her computer back in shape tomorrow. So far spybot seems to have cleaned it up some and AVG did too. UGH...this is nasty! We miss our pals - Mom is letting us use the laptop now, but we didn't get to spend any time visiting our blogging friends today. We hope your weekend is going better than ours is.

Here is one video that Mom uploaded before the Crash came.

Ellie likes to open gifts with her teeth - even if she has to pause for a bath while unwrapping!!

Mom's computer was attacked many, many more times than normal last week, but we did not get any virus.

All of Mom's computers have Norton's Internet Security. Mom has been using Norton's ever since she first went on line a bazillion years ago with AOL! Norton's has never allowed anything to get through and that record is hard to beat. Mom recommends it to everybuddy all the time. We also use a firewall. There are lots of weirdos who can think of nothing better to do other than screwing up people's computers.

Oh Guys! I am sorry about the virus, but I wanted to send you a smooch for the great Santa Paws gifts!

So sorry about the virus. My mom also uses Norton Internet Security and we have been pretty lucky. I guess it is a good thing we don't know what an "entrecard" is or we might be in trouble.

Ellie is so cute and dainty opening her Christmas present. Can't wait to see what she got.

I hope you can get rid of that rotten virus. Something similar happened to us, and we had to reformat our entire computer (it was something called "Sinowal" that we got). Thank goodness we had stuff backed up on an external hard drive and only lost a few dozen photos.

Moki's Crystal had a virus she couldn't get rid of until a techie suggested Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware from www.malwarebytes.org. It's a good free program and Jan downloaded it a while ago.

A friend of her's picked up a virus that wouldn't let him visit any site that could help him get rid of it. Good luck. A virus is no fun!

That's why our mommy will let us only visit our furr buddies from now on, because Ecard is getting worse with attacks. Mom has been thinking about taking ours down or just dropping on our buddies only, cause she don't want us to lose our puters. Hope mommy get's yours fixed and better soon.

Viruses these days are worse than ever before... once they're in a machine, it's just about impossible to get rid of them. We hope you can get control of your PC again soon!

So sorry to hear about that computer virus - yuk! Ellie's really talented at opening gifts!

Viruses scare me. I had to take my computer in once already to get it fixed even though I had Norton and webroot "protecting" it. How do you know it was because of Entrecard?

Ellie sure was fascinated with that ribbon!

I'm glad you were able to get those viruses cleared up. I ran Spybot and Malwarebytes yesterday and it cleared out 10 of them. I see Ellie likes the ribbon, too. We have to go into the other room if we want to wrap presents:)
