Anyway......................we finally managed to get a very special present for our Mom and she really loved it! She was so excited she made loud screechy noises and had Daddy take it outside and give it a place of honor. We thought a (slightly bloody) dead bird was the PURRFECT gift for Mom. Here is the place of honor that we laid it....
For some reason, Daddy felt the need to get these from us too. We're not sure why he thought it would be appropriate. The funny thing is that Daddy can't drive for the next 6 months because of his seizure and he tricked Mom into taking him to the store so he could buy these from us...
We're pretty sure Mom liked the dead bird a LOT more than those silly roses!!
We hope all of the Cat Moms and Bean Moms have a wonderful Mother's Day!!

Huh. Mom never seems to like it when Gandalf brings her a bird. We do not understand why. The roses are very beautiful!

What amazing talented kitties you are to catch a bird yourselves and give it to your mom. She must have been so proud. I'm sure that's why all the fuss! She was overcome with joy! Flowers can be tasty too.
What beautiful roses! I'm sure you thought you were doing something wonderful for your mom with the bird, but moms don't tend to like that kind of thing.

OOPS!We didn't know your Daddy had a seizure....our internet has been cutting off on us so Mommy has to call them tomorrow...again!! We're glad that your Daddy is doing lots better and is back home with all of you. We think that the ded bird was a great present, but beans can be funny about things like that. The flowers are pretty, and just the sort of thing that Moms like. Hope you all had a great day together,
