Toes Tuesday and Thank you again!

Hi Effurybuddy,
Thank you so much for your purrs and prayers for me again. Mom was super scared when I fell and couldn't get up Sunday night, but Dr. Kaseta is pretty sure that the medicine I was on did it to me. Mom gave me a private "suite" where I can eat and sleep and do effurything else a kitty needs to do in private and I am very happy. Mom even took a nice long nap with me yesterday.
To Mom's surprise, I ate my dry food! She thinks I might have been eating more than she thought. We're still on poop watch (MOM! why are you sharing that!!!) Dr Kaseta said I didn't have to come in until Thursday when I get my stitches out.


Here I am trying to get a decent nap in! Thanks for all your love and support - I love you all!

ManCat Monday - ManCats in Hats

Purrs and Prayer Request....
Mom had to take Sniffie to the ER V-E-T last night. We think the appetite stimulator might have been too much for her and she fell and couldn't get up. Mom had already stopped it, but Sniffie had it for 3 days. They gave her some fluids, scared Mom to death with talk about ultrasounds to see if there are other lumps, and sent us home. Mom will check in with our V-E-T tomorrow. Sniffie is fine right now and has her own "suite" so Mom can see what she's eating, drinking and um....well...you know!

Last Friday our Sisfurs were featured by our Pals Sammy and Andy as Femme Friday Cats in Hats.

We ManCats decided that we can wear hats too and keep our Manly ManCatlyness!

Easy Like Sunday with Sniffie

Hi everyone! Some of my pals have been asking how my ouchie is healing. Mom said it was okay if I showed you all today.

I've been really good and I'm not touching my stitches (although Mom thinks I pulled one out). Dad caught Ellie trying to lick my stitches this morning! I sure hope she doesn't think I'm going to put up with THAT! See how nicely my furs are growing back? I get my stitches out on Thursday.

Okay....I'm going to take a nap now! Have a good Sunday!

Ellie says she's really thankful that Sniffie is going to be okay. Even though they have smackdowns, she loves her sister Sniffie. Once in a while, it's nice to share some girl time with your sisfur.

Toes Tuesday with Sniffie and an Update!!

Sniffie says a good model learns how to show her best side and hide the impurrfections. Mom says Sniffie doesn't have any inpurrfections...she's PURRFECT.


We know effurybuddy is waiting to hear the results of my biopsy.....Mom got a phone call from Doctor Kaseta last night. He said that Sniffie had a visit from somebuddy named Carsy Noma. Mom said Carsy isn't very nice but Doctor Kaseta said that Sniffie had clean margins. Well of course she does....she doesn't color outside the lines or do anything like that. He said her Limp Nose was all good too. Limp Nose???? My nose just sits on my face...I'm so confused. Anyway.....
Mom is really HAPPY! We will always have to keep an eye on me, and on that spot, but it looks like we caught it in time!! Thank you to all my pals who worried along with Mom and supported us with your purrs and prayers....they were all answered!! Now if we could get my furs to grow back faster.................

Thank you all for your purrs and prayers. You all know how worried I was and the support and Love that we got from the Cat Blogosphere really helped me get through this. We also want to thank our wonderful Vet Tech Cheryl, who got Sniffie right in last Monday and treated her with such love, and Doctor Kaseta for taking such good care of her. I know I am a major worrier (who else tells the Vet which anesthetic to use?) but you are all so wonderful. Sniffie knows she's loved when she goes to Seaside!

Sometimes being a ManCat means hanging out with your Sisfur while she's recuperating. I love Sniffie (even if she does clean my ears all the time).

Femme Friday with Sniffie

Sniffie wants to thank effurybuddy who sent purrs, prayers, wags and woofs to her yesterday. She is happy that the nasty lump is gone and we're all purring that the biopsy comes back and says that everything is fine. The support of the Cat Blogosphere and all of the Moms and Woofies is amazing. Mom says it really helped to know that we had so many friends out there.

****UPDATE***

Sniffie's Home!!!!!!!! The V-E-T said that the lump was in the muscle and the bottom layer of the muscle looked clean. We will know more when we get the biopsy but we're really hopeful that we are done with this! She's perky and bright eyed and looks like Frankenstein!!

Today is the day Sniffie has her surgery to remove the lump. Please ramp up the purrs and prayers for a safe surgery and a good outcome. Mom will update as soon as she hears anything.

Not so Wordless Wednesday with Sniffie

Thank you all for your purrs and prayers for me and for my surgery tomorrow. Mom is so scared, but I keep telling her not to worry...I'm The Sniffer and I'll be okay.

Here's a picture of where they stole my furs on Monday. My furs look greasy because Mom is putting neosporin on it so it doesn't get hurty.

Purrs and Prayers and Travel Tuesday with Trooper

Thank you all for the purrs and prayers for Sniffie. Please keep them coming. Mom is so scared about the surgery on Thursday. Mom will try to stop by and thank everyone, but right now her heart isn't into visiting because she's so worried. Thanks to ML for making this beautiful graphic for Sniffie.


Cousin Trooper was really upset when he saw the big magic box come out. He knows that these boxes capture his Mom and make her disappear. He figured if he packed his toys, he could go too...

***Sniffie Update!***
Mom took Sniffie to the V-E-T this morning. He didn't like that bump at all (although he did say it didn't look like it was in the place where that nasty vaccine sarcoma would be). He stole some of Sniffie's furs and blood for a test...nobody told her she was supposed to study for a test!! If the test results come back okay, Sniffie is scheduled to have the bump removed on Thursday morning. They will send it out to be tested. The V-E-T said that it was small and that was good. Please keep her in your prayers. Mom is worried sick about the surgery and what the bump could be.

Sniffie update: Mom talked to our favorite Vet Tech, Cheryl, and she told Mom she will get Sniffie in to be checked sometime today. Please keep the purrs and prayers going. Mom is super worried. Mom apologizes for not visiting our pals too much yesterday but she wants to let you all know how much she appreciates your good thoughts and your comforting comments.

We are re-cycling last year's World Cat Day post because we really wanted to honor those who came before again.

We don't want this to be a sad post - it's a celebration of some of the furry cool kitties Mom has known!


Cory was Sniffie's littermate...

Uriel - our first Birman. Uriel was a red point and was a sweetie! Uriel would give a Paws Up to World Cat Day!! Little Uriel had FIP and went to the Bridge at a very young age.

Mom's first Himalayan - Khartoum. Khartoum was Tabriz's daddy. Mom says she was WAY TOO tan in this picture and had on some VERY intense eyeshadow! We say she was WAY younger too!!

We hope you didn't mind seeing Cory, Uriel, Baschert, Tabriz and Khartoum again. Mom promised each one of them (and us too) that they would always be with her.
