This strange kitty is actually an Alpaca named Southern General who was at our city's Founder's Day celebration. Southern General is owned by a friend of Mom's who raises them. See more cool alpacas and a cute llama named Dolly at The Marsh Farm.

Whew! I am so glad that is not a kitty - I was worried I was going to have to help it find a home... and that would have been a tough one! That said, I do like alpaca fur - have you ever curled up in a blanket made from alpaca yarn? It is heavenly!

There's a small alpaca farm (if that's what you call it) on our island. The humans raise alpacas and sometimes when mom drives by there, she sees the alpacas outside. She's never kissed one, though.)
Mommy is GREEN with envy! She loves llamas and alpacas. She would kiss one, too. Blech!

Hopefully she got the alpaca fur off her lips before kissing you Tamir! We do have to admit the alpaca is pretty cute and their crias are adorable. That said, we don't want our mommy kissing one either!
