The genetics of this feature may not be not fully clear, though a gene conferring the white 'gloves' has been identified."

We have never been able to figure out if Boodie is a Birman or Ragdoll mix because she has the gloves, but she is very badly marked for a Birman.

ReplyDeleteAllie, we know all about the Birman gloves! To tell you a Birman story you might enjoy ... before we came to live with our beans, Momma told Daddy she wanted a Birman. He thought she said Burmese and couldn't find any in St. Louis. He did find a Siamese (which sounded like Burmese), me Sabrina, and then proceded to find me Sam and then me Simon, so that is how us Meezers all came to live with them. Hope you enjoyed our story!
