Thankful Thursday and Bootsie needs a home

A couple of weeks ago the Cat Blogosphere had an auction for Bootsie, a kitty who  was abandoned by his owners when they moved away.  Poor Bootsie  sat in the driveway for weeks until another family moved in.  Since his owners had never treated his ear mites, Bootsie had a terrible ear infection and desperately needed to see a VET.

Now Bootsie is looking for a forever home.  Here is the info that was on our pal Brian's blog:

Bootsie needs to find his forever home pretty quickly now. We will know more about whether or not Bootsie will need the TECA surgery in about a week and a half.  In any event, once his health is stabilized, with or without the TECA surgery, he needs a home. He can’t stay at his foster place forever and his living quarters are very small.
Bootsie is approximately 10+ years old, but plays like a young kitty. Bootsie needs to be an indoor only kitty so that no further ear infection issues occur.  Jenna just told me “Bootsie is beyond a love, sweetest most well behaved kitty you could ask for, honestly he is the greatest!”
I know y’all have grown fond of Bootsie too, I can tell from the outpouring of donations and auction participation.
Now, it’s time for me to ask more of you, but you probably knew this was coming.  Can you adopt Bootsie?  If you can’t, can you share this post and Bootsie’s Adoption Application? Can you share both everywhere you can and do it frequently?  Thanks, I thought you would be willing to help.  Let’s rock Bootsie’s world and find him the best forever home ever!

You wonder why this post is called Thankful Thursday?   Well....two reasons.  One is because Bootsie was rescued and there was an auction to raise green papers to help Bootsie.  The other is because Mom bid on this gorgeous hand crocheted shawl donated by Da Weenies of Florida and she WON it!!

Isn't it gorgeous?  Look at he size, its fantastic...

Isn't the pattern lovely???

Thank you to all who put the auction together, donated items and bid on items....we sure hope sweet Bootsie gets the wonderful forever home he needs.

What a beautiful shawl! Your Mom is going to enjoy wearing that, if you ever let her take it up off of the furniture. It would be pretty great to lounge on, too.

PepiSmartDog: Hi pals! Your crocheted shawl is absolutely beautiful! The lady did a beautiful job in making it. Congratulations on winning it.
I am just catching up with Bootsie's progress; he sounds a beautiful kitteh who was treated badly by his former humans. Wonderful that everyone is rallying for him now.
Thank you for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Really appreciate your posts each week and hope to see you again next week. *waves paw* :=o)
