Wordy Wednesday

I don't get it.....why did Raz and Allie have so much trouble taking their photo with Mr. Turkey?  He's very cooperative!!

A few weeks ago we won a Thanksgiving Giveaway from our pals at 15 and Meowing.  What a super duper prize it was.  Not only were there nip toys (including their WORLD FAMOUS turkey leg) but there was a nip pad in a turkey print,as well as a feather headband and  a book and ornament for Mom.
Mom had no luck at all getting us to wear the headband.  She tried sneaking up on us when we were sleeping, bribing us, anything she could think of but no WAY were we going to wear it.  We did think it might make a fun toy but Mom said it was too cute for that!  Wait till you see how much Ellie loved the turkey print catnip mat!!!

Thanks again to our pals at 15 and Meowing.  That was a super duper giveaway prize package!  If you don't know them, stop by and visit.  They're a great bunch and their Mom makes the BEST crocheted catnip toys!

Today is also Pig Love's Shopping Around the World.  From Pig Love's blog:
This month we are highlighting Thanksgiving items.  It can be an appetizer, a main course, a side dish or dessert.  FIVE items your choice of Thanksgiving.
As you probably know by now, Mom is a low carb person.  For years she made this sausage-mushroom "dressing" as well as the traditional bread stuffing.  Finally she gave up on the bread one because nobody ate that one....everyone preferred this one!

Super prize package from those wonderful cats at 15&Meowing! Obviously that mat was a BIG HIT......also we love your Mom's recipe for stuffing - I told Mom to print it out - I think I could easily work a little sausage into my diet along with the bacon I adore!

Love, Sammy

I bet that's the best turkey stuffing ever... my mom always ate just a truckload of stuffing as she was a little girl and refused to eat the turkey :o)
