Friendly Fill-Ins and Flashback Friday

We're pawticipating in Friendly Fill-ins sponsored by McGuffy's Reader and 15 and Meowing.

1. A book I would like to see made into a movie is _
_Any of the "Cat Who" books.  We would love to see Koko and Yum Yum and Quill in a movie____.
2. If I could afford a billboard, it would say  Be Kind To Each Other.   No matter what our differnces are, there is no reason to be nasty or mean________.
3. I have a hard time   Seeing animal abuse posts on Facebook.  I know there needs to be awareness but pictures can't be washed out of your memory and just make me sad.  Reading about abuse is bad enough....please...NO PICTURES!     .
4. I really enjoy   reading everyones Friendly Fill-Ins!

For Flashback Friday we are sharing a photo of Angel Cousin Trooper having fun with the sparkly teaser.  We sure miss him.

Angel Trooper was a cutie. Thank you for participating every week in the fill-ins, you always have great answers. Those books would make great movies. Excellent billboard idea. I don't like seeing those abuse photos on Facebook which is part of the reason that I don't go on there very often, you can't unsee them after you see them. Have a great weekend! XO

Angel Trooper looks like he knows how to party ;) I completely agree about animal abuse pictures ... I almost quit blogging a few times because I just couldn't take hearing and seeing the profound cruelty of humanity. I feel guilty on one hand - because it's not like the abused animals have the choice to look away for their comfort like we can - but seeing those images and reading the stories definitely drag me down and rip out my heart. Within my close circle of friends - I'm alone in being so disturbed by this - and I thought maybe I was crazy - so thank you for sharing your experience. A year ago, I wrote this Note on Facebook after a couple of really unforgettable images ... https://www.facebook.com/notes/momma-kat-and-her-bear-cat/the-only-thing-necessary-for-the-triumph-of-evil-is-for-good-men-to-do-nothing-a/1090014537716449

Awww, Angel Trooper, good to see you again. Great Fill-ins and if there is one thing in the world our Mom could do without seeing again is the abuse photos on fb. Agreed, awareness couldn't not be enough but the lingering images are so hard to forget.

We do agree with the animal abuse photos on FB. They haunt us even after we hide them and makes our mommy's eyes leak for a long time. We would love to see a billboard saying that though! Cousin Trooper knew how to have a good time. We miss him too.

There is just too much meanness in today's world. Love is what is needed.

Great to see Cousin Trooper today.

So nice to see Cousin Trooper. He was a sweetie, and we miss him. We are sure he is playing with Tamir, Sniffie, Sammy, Nellie, Fiona and so many others. Really liked your answers. It would be so fun to have the Cat Who books made into movies. Sort of surprised they never have been. Mom totally agrees about the abused animals. Same for on TV and Twitter. Reading about what happens is hard enough. Mau is sending all his love and a bazillion X a million smooches. Oh I love your #3....Mom gets upset seeing those postings/photos/videos too and you're right - once you see them you can't unsee them. She can't even watch the ASPCA commercials on TV......gets so sad. We do give to the organizations to support the wonderful work they do rescuing abused animals but SEEING them is just so hard. Trooper looks like he's having a BLAST with that wand toy!

I like that billboard! I think people often over-do the sensationalism on social media. The media makes it worse, too. I cannot un-see things, but I cannot look away from one in need, either. I think there is a midline we need to walk. We need to see it to stop it, but we should then focus on the good, the joy of helping. Hugs!

Awww Angel Trooper was a beautiful kitty. I'm sorry you lost him.

I agree about the abused animal photos. They are very upsetting. I don't know why folks have to be so mean to animals.

Have a blessed day!

We like your fill in answers. And we agree about the animal abuse on FB. The mom usually hides those that she sees. Great to see Trooper today.
