Monday Sparks and a Rockin' Birthday

Welcome to Sparks. Many years ago, it was my intent to post an inspirational thought each Monday. It would be my weekly meditation, and perhaps feed other people's spirit as well. Life got busy, and this fell by the wayside. Now, I feel a strong need to bring this feature back. 

The negative energy in the world has become thick and oppressive. Social media has become a part of this dark, negative storm. There is an obvious universal need for more positive energy and peace. And, we can all be part of this affirmative change. 

I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!

Our Sparks for today.

We're celebrating a special birthday today. Today is our pal Bashful's birthday.  He's going to his next family but we wanted to celebrate with him.

First we hired this woofie to play the Birthday Song.  We think he got confused since we told him Bashful was a ROCK.

A few of Bashful's rock pals stopped by.  There was Mr. Brain, Shelly and Bashful's special friend Ms. Aquastone.  Ms. Aquastone and Bashful have become very close while he was here and she's going home with him.  Bashful was intrigued by the fact that she glows in the dark!

Raz wanted to wish Bashful a Happy Birthday too!

Bashful got a cool ribbon from Ms. Aquastone.  Wasn't that thoughtful of her?

Bashful wants to wear his Birthday Boy hat all day to celebrate!
