Mom was pleasantly surprised when she opened the jug. There was a nice subtle and fresh scent of pine but nothing overwhelming. We have our litter boxes side by side and we had no problem using this product. In fact, we REALLY used it a lot (sorry, no photos!!!) The litter clumped really well and did not kick up a lot of dust. Mom worries about us breathing in dust.
