Today's photo prompt is
Our poem is titled
YAY ME!
The little girl tried her skates
At first, they felt like heavy weights.
Little steps, really small
She was afraid she would fall.
Little by little she got more courage
"Go Ahead" her Mom would encourage.
Just when she thought she would quit
She got the hang of it!
Her Mom heard her shout with glee
It got it! YAY ME!
Today is also Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
This week we are THANKFUL for TWO pawsome badges from the Tuesday Teaser. One was for first commenter along with Miss Jackie from Memories of Eric and Flynn and the other was because Mom submitted the photo that was used.
Cool, huh? Great way to start the New Year!

Thanks for always writing a poem for this fun challenge of Angel Sammy's. I know he's smiling BIG. Concats on being a FIRSTIE this week too!!

What a great poem!!! That little girl looks quite pleased with herself. Mom remembers that style of skates from a hundred years ago along with lots of scratched knees:)

Great poem. Congrats on those badges :)
What a cute poem. The photo was so much fun to write about. I absolutely loved those chubby and dimpled knees. Mau is sending Allie all his love and a bazillion X 100 smooches.
