Caturday Cat Art

We're joining Athena's Caturday Art Blog Hop

Once again, we are sharing artwork that is not our original work but something we found really fascinating.

The artist, Bordalo II, uses recycled TRASH to make his sculptures.   We were amazed at his creations.  Click HERE to read more about him (you might need Google to translate).  He has lots of other sculptures, including another cat, on his website.

Sorry, no puzzle this week because this isn't our own artwork.

  5. Wow....isn't that wonderful? Especially that he used trash to build it but it has so much personality and I really just love it!

  7. that DEFINITELY is unique and must have taken ages to create! I can't decide if I actually like it, or if I find it to be a tad bit terrifying :(

  8. Oh my CAT! This is amazing. Mom had never heard of this person or seen any of his art. She looked at lots more on the internet and saw some other kitties. This seems to be one of the few free-standing pieces. Thanks for sharing. This was terrific. Mau sends Allie a smooch for every star in the sky, and Sawyer sends Noelle whisker kisses and purrs. 11. Cats and trash should never be used in the same sentence but the art is pawsome.

  12. Mummy says it kind of reminds her of Gaudi. She has a little china cat in this style, from Barcelona.
