Today's photo prompt is
Practice
You need to practice said my Mom
If you do, you will be calm.
I know practice is vital.
Today is my recital.
Today is also Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
We are THANKFUL for friends who have helped Mom fill the gas cans, start the generator and will be here to put shutters up this weekend if Hurry-Cane Dorian is coming our way. We would be even MORE THANKFUL if Dorian would just fizzle out and leave everyone alone.

practice is the key to tickle the keys ;O)
Sharon, sending prayers that you all stay safe and we want Hurry-Cane Dorian to fizzle out and leave everybody alone... us too.
I have serious performance anxiety, which meant when I had to perform at a concert while playing my flute, I was a mess! Standing up in the choir was only a shade easier, 'cause I was half-hidden by the other choir members, but being on stage is a no-go for me.
That was such a cute poem. Dorian is not cute, y'all be careful and safe. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Very nice poem...Practice makes purrfect.
I hope and pray Dorian fizzles out and is sucked up by the mighty Atlantic.
Thank goodness for good friends Hugs Cecilia

Excellent poem. Those recital days were always scary. You are in our prayers as Dorian moves toward Florida. So happy you will be well prepared. Sending lots of love to all. Mau sends Allie a smooch for every drop of rain that falls and all his love. Sawyer sends Noelle purrs and paw-pats. Great job on the poem. Praying you are all safe. XO
We are so glad to hear you had some help to get ready for the storm. We have you in our thoughts and prayers and are really hoping Dorian blows off to sea.
